Version history and Run Inspector

Learn how to view version and run history

To preview version history or run inspector, open the menu for a definition or navigate to the definition's wiki page.

Definition menu

When opening a certain definition you will see a button group on the right sidebar. The buttons are responsible for viewing:

  • version history list,

  • last version in editor,

  • run inspector list.

These buttons are only displayed for definitions.

Viewing Version History

Version history
  1. Open Version History: Click the first button in the button group or "Version history" in the menu. This will display the version history with the latest version at the top.

  2. View Specific Version: Click on the desired version to view it the editor.

  3. Compare Versions: Click on "Compare Versions" button at the top right corner, select the versions you want to compare, and click "Compare"

Viewing Latest Version

You can also open the latest version directly in the editor by clicking the second button in the button group or "View in editor" in the menu.

Run Inspector List

Run Inspector
  1. Preview Script Runs: Click the third button to preview a list of all script runs or "Run inspector" in the menu.

  2. Run Information: Each item in the list includes:

    • Status of the run

    • Date and time when the script was run

    • Run time

    • Software used

    • Project name

    • Definition version

    • User

    • Orkestra version

  3. Inspect Run: Click on the desired run to view it the editor.
