🔎Searching for Definitions

Searching for definitions in the Orkestra Revit panel will behave similarly to the Orkestra Desktop App. The difference is with the Revit version, searching will return results based on the workspaces that are enabled for that version of Revit. This means if a workspace is not enabled for that version of Revit, then you won't see those definitions. To review this information, see the Working with Workspaces section.

The search feature includes a filter that allows you to narrow down your search by workspace. Click on the filter button in the "Search" bar, and you can adjust what workspaces you search within.

To search for a definition, click into the search field and begin typing the name of the definition or keywords associated with it. The search will then refine to that definition or definitions if there are multiple with the same name or keyword.

Definition Information

Once you've narrowed down the definitions, you can right-click on the definition, click information, and discover more about it.
