🚧Package Management

We'll cover the ins and outs of package management in Orkestra.

The preferred practice is to avoid synching view extension packages to hubs and workspaces

Also, only sync packages that are used by the workflows in the workspace.

The Hub package settings are inherited by default. The list of packages is greyed out, and the sync button is disabled. If you wish to set specific package settings for a Workspace, you first need to Override the Hub settings () by switching on the toggle and confirming that you want to override them.

Synchronizing (uploading) a set of packages to a Workspace

  1. Press the syncpackage button on the bottom right of the Hub settings window.

  2. Browse to a folder containing the packages you wish to upload.

Once the sync is finished, the list of packages and their versions will be displayed in the Orkestra Hub Settings window.

Adding a single package to the package settings

Method 1

  1. Press the syncpackagebutton

  2. Browse to the package folder you wish to add

  3. Press "Select Folder"

Method 2

Orkestra allows the ability to drag and drop package folders.

Removing a package from the WorkSpace settings

  1. Select the package you wish to remove

  2. Click the syncpackage button
